Last week we introduced the first common problem that cell phone users encounter. Here’s a look at problems number two and three.
Problem #2: Won’t Hold A Charge
If you find yourself consistently needing to plug in your cell phone, it is time to check your battery. While cell phone batteries are rechargeable, they do wear down over time, eventually making it difficult for them to hold a charge. The first solution is to change your battery. Replacing your old battery with a new one should be a quick and easy fix to your power problems. However, if your phone won’t hold a charge even after you replace the battery, take it in to a cell phone repair shop, as there could be internal issues that are preventing the battery from working properly.
Problem #3: Running Slow
Today’s cell phones do so much more beyond a simple phone call. Between talking, texting, playing music and videos, taking photos and videos, and surfing the Internet, a cell phone needs to perform at a top-notch speed. A cell phone that is slow or sluggish to respond can be an extremely frustrating obstacle to your work or social life.
If the speed of your cell phone has dramatically decreased, the first place to check is your storage. How many photos, videos, or music files do you currently carry on your phone? Downloading these files to your home computer or deleting unnecessary files will help keep your storage areas clear and dramatically increase the processing speed of your cell phone.
If you have cleaned up your cell phone’s storage and still find that your cell phone is slow, the next place to check is the manufacturing date. Phones often get slower with age, making it necessary to replace them with a newer model.
